Mount Vernon-based vehicle suspension system manufacturer Reyco Granning has hired a new president.
Curt Wormington started in the top role this month, according to a news release.
Wormington succeeds John Stuart, who is scheduled to retire Aug. 11. After a stint with Reyco in the 1990s, Stuart returned to the company in 2014, according to an announcement earlier this month.
“Curt’s background and commercial experience makes him the ideal champion to execute our revenue growth initiatives," Stuart said in the release. “Curt possesses the qualifications and expertise to grow Reyco Granning into an even greater, more successful company.”
Wormington joins Reyco from Carlex Glass, where he was vice president and general manager of the company's aftermarket replacement glass division. His career has taken him to leadership roles in Michigan, Ohio, Oklahoma and most recently Tennessee, with Carlex, according to his LinkedIn profile.
Owned by MAT Holdings LLC, Reyco Granning produced 2021 revenue of $45 million, according to past Springfield Business Journal reporting.
