Papa John’s shares rise most in 6 years after founder exits

Papa John’s shares rose by the largest percentage increase in six years yesterday.

The jump came hours after company founder John Schnatter stepped down as chairman after admitting to using a racial slur during a conference call in May.

Papa John’s shares were up by more than 11 percent to $53.67 in trading yesterday.
