Ophelia’s co-owner Tom Muetzel offered Springfield Business Journal an exclusive first look at an underground cellar discovered during the renovation of its new 300 E. Commercial St. location. Workers spent seven weeks removing spring water and debris to reveal the full scope of the cellar, which is 40 feet by 16 feet, with an eight-foot vaulted ceiling.
