Martha’s Vineyard nightclub co-owners Tony Rank and Allen Brown on May 3 opened Calgaro’s Pizzeria at 210 S. Market St., Ste. 124, inside College Station. Organized under T&A Empire LLC, Rank said the restaurant has a 10-year lease for roughly 4,200 square feet with Tillman Redevelopment LLC. Lease and startup costs were not disclosed. Rank said Calgaro’s menu includes pizza, pasta, sandwiches, burgers, wings, appetizers and desserts, as well as a full bar. Food prices range from $8 for pasta to $24 for a large pizza with the works. With seating for 150, Rank said an 80-person meeting room is available with audio-visual equipment. The restaurant employs 25, and Rank said he’s hiring another 10 part-time positions. Advanced Cabling Systems Inc.
Technology integration firm Advanced Cabling Systems Inc. on March 1 purchased Ozark-based Centralarm Inc.  Advanced Cabling Systems spokeswoman Holly Frein said the Little Rock, Ark., company purchased Centralalarm for undisclosed terms from Brent Johnson, who still manages the office at 5102 N. 22nd St. in Ozark. Advanced Cabling Systems also employs Terry McCallister and Tyler Hohnstein as technicians at the 4,500-square-foot space leased space from Washington Developers LLC for undisclosed terms. In addition to fire alarm installation previously offered by Centralarm, the Ozark office now provides CCTV camera, security and paging, and intercom systems as well as structured and fiber optic cabling. Attorney Sativa Boatman-Sloan on April 7 moved her law offices to 4650 S. National Ave., Bldg. C-4, formerly a Southern Bank branch. She operates The Law Office of Sativa Boatman-Sloan LLC and 417 Elder Law. After two years, Boatman-Sloan said the firms outgrew 1,500 square feet at 3524 S. Culpepper Circle, and she took on additional offices and a conference room in the transition to 3,800 square feet leased from Culpepper Court Townhouses Inc. Lease terms and costs associated with the move were not disclosed. With three attorneys and two paralegals, Boatman-Sloan’s law office focuses on business and real estate law, while 417 Elder Law handles wills, trusts, power of attorney, probate and long-term care planning for seniors.
