NYSE appoints first female leader in 226-year history

The New York Stock Exchange appointed its first female leader in its 226-year history.

Stacey Cunningham, who currently is chief operating officer of the stock market, will become its president.

She's scheduled to take over Friday for Thomas Farley, who's leaving for a new job as head of acquisition company Far Point.
