College of the Ozarks awarded artist Lois Reeves’ “A Winter Morning” watercolor first place in its White River Painting Exhibit. School officials gave second place to “Off the Beaten Path,” an acrylic painting by Yun Kim, and third place to “Fishing Lesson,” a watercolor by John L. Yount.
Ozarks Technical Community College’s information technology department received a Cloud Leadership award from E&I Cooperative Services, a nonprofit purchasing organization that serves educational institutions. The school was honored in the category of innovation for its commitment to cloud services.
Springfield Public Schools received an 84 percent on its Annual Performance Report by the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education. SPS was cited as strengthening its performance in the areas of English language arts, college and career readiness, and its graduation rate.
Citizens Memorial Hospital’s cardio-pulmonary rehabilitation program was recertified by the American Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation. The program has been certified since 2000.
