Missouri's unemployment rate increased in June after staying the same for months.
The state's jobless rate last month was 2.6%, according to a news release from the Missouri Economic Research and Information Center. The data is seasonally adjusted.
The jobless rate was 2.5% in May, April and March. Rates were 2.6% in February and 2.7% in January, according to past reporting.
Missouri's nonfarm payroll ranks rose by 10,000 jobs in June compared with a revised May figure, according to the release.
Private-industry employment increased by 9,200 jobs and government employment jumped by 800 jobs month over month.
