Mid-Missouri Bank to break ground on Webb City branch

Mid-Missouri Bank is replacing one of its two Webb City branches.

A groundbreaking ceremony is scheduled Oct. 5 at 1421 S. Madison St., according to a news release.

Andrew Moore, director of marketing for the Springfield-based company, said the existing building at the site was demolished last week. Employees are working at a mobile unit during the construction process.

Crossland Construction Co. Inc. is the general contractor for the nearly 5,000-square-foot branch, Moore said, noting Buxton Kubik Dodd Design Collective is the project architect. The targeted completion date is March 2024, said Moore, declining to disclose the construction cost.

“We’re excited to get this additional investment in MidMo’s four-state footprint into the construction phase," said Andy Perigo, community president of Mid-Missouri Bank’s Joplin and Webb City locations, in the release. “Once completed, the facility will offer many improvements from our existing bank building at the same address, not the least of which will be a MidMo Insurance wing and a local business and personal insurance expert."

Mid-Missouri Bank also operates a Webb City branch at 100 N. Main St., according to its website. The company has 13 branches, including three in Springfield.
