Merck pens $2.4B deal for Antelliq

Merck and Co. announced Friday a $2.4 billion deal for privately held French company Antelliq Group.

Antelliq, which makes digital identification products, would be a wholly owned subsidiary within Merck's animal health division.

Private equity firm BC Partners currently has a majority stake in Antelliq.
