Bill Dunn Sr., who was the face of Kansas City-based JE Dunn Construction for more than 70 years, turned 100 yesterday.
He took over the leadership of the company from his father, John Ernest "Ernie" Dunn, who founded the company in 1924.
His successors at the company, son and former CEO Terry Dunn and current CEO Gordon Lansford, have credited the company's success to Bill Dunn Sr.'s leadership.
