Kansas City-based solar company Savion LLC entered a power purchase agreement with Target Corp.
The 160-megawatt deal involves a solar project Savion is developing near Houston, Texas.
Target is buying enough power to offset the electricity use of 60 of its stores or 37,100 homes, according to the Kansas City Business Journal.
