Historic KC building to hit auction block

A historic Kansas City building is hitting the auction block later this month.

The 12-story Scarritt Building is located in Kansas City's Financial District. It's said to be the second of Kansas City's original skyscrapers.

Florida-based Augustine Development Group, the current owner, previously had plans to convert the building into apartments and retail space.
