Guaranty Bank board elects vice chair

The Guaranty Bank Board of Directors has filled an open position and reelected its chair.

Tim Stack, who works as executive vice president of SRC Holdings Inc., started Dec. 20 as Guaranty Bank's board vice chair, according to a news release.

Stack has served on the board since 2020.

The board additionally reelected James Batten as board chair, a role he's held since November 2022. Batten has leadership experience at International Dehydrated Foods, Convoy of Hope, O’Reilly Automotive Inc. (Nasdaq: ORLY) and the Whitlock Co.

"Both of these high-caliber and talented individuals have provided strong leadership and guidance to our company over the past several years. This transition demonstrates our commitment to our future growth in southwest Missouri," Guaranty Bank CEO Monte McNew said in the release.

The board has 15 members, according to Guaranty's website.

As of Sept. 30, Guaranty Bank's assets were $2.2 billion and deposits were $1.7 billion, according to past reporting.
