Thermo King handles temperature control equipment for the trucking industry. Smith co-owns the Thermo King dealership with John Cooper of The Harry Cooper Supply Co. and an equity partner, Tim Fry. The group also has ownership of the Thermo King dealerships in Joplin and Tulsa, Smith said. Near the Strafford interchange for Interstate 44, other companies in the area are Peterbilt of Springfield, Springfield Yamaha, Arrowhead Building Supply and Springfield Sign and Graphics.
