Project description: A lease-purchase agreement has been signed with an undisclosed tenant for the property known as the Lot 7 speculative building in the SWMO Rail and Business Park in Strafford, according to Rand Youngblood, project manager from Rich Kramer Construction. Measuring in at 350 feet by 400 feet, the building will have four 8-by-9-foot dock doors with 30,000-pound hydraulic pit levelers, along with two larger drive-in doors. An office, currently being designed, will be around 6,500 square feet to accommodate some 20 staff members, and offices can be added later on the second-floor mezzanine. Youngblood said a heavy-duty parking lot and dock area are under construction, and the tenant can add parking spaces for up to 34 full-size trailers and 122 cars. This is the seventh building to go up at the SWMO Rail and Business Park, totaling nearly 750,000 square feet of building space, Youngblood said.
