Description: Sullivan Bank is more than doubling the size of its 2,742-square-foot banking center on South Campbell Avenue, said Jessica Kraus, the bank’s marketing director. The addition will feature a 500-square-foot conference room, eight offices and workstations, storage and an employee lounge, Kraus said. She added that the existing building also will be renovated, including an upgraded teller station and new entrance with a large logo crest across the front. Parking and landscaping also will be upgraded, she said. According to its website, the bank was founded in 1895 in Sullivan, 150 miles northeast of Springfield, and it expanded beyond the town borders over a century later, starting with a branch in Cuba in 1999. The Springfield branch, one of nine communities served by the bank, opened in 2015.
