Project description: Leong’s Asian Diner’s dining room extension creates a private banquet room that can be divided into two small areas. The addition will bring the restaurant to about 4,250 square feet. According to project architect Chris Ball of Jack Ball & Associates, new finishes in the space will be used throughout the building in future renovations. David Leong and his sons opened the restaurant in late 2010. The family first opened Leong’s Tea House in 1963, and David Leong is credited with creating Springfield-style cashew chicken.
