French billionaire Bernard Arnault became the second-richest person in the world, according to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index.
With a net worth of around $108 billion, he overtook Microsoft founder Bill Gates in the No. 2 spot. Gates is worth $107 billion.
Arnault is CEO of luxury goods maker LVMH.
