Former University of Chicago president dies at 75

Robert Zimmer, who led the University of Chicago for 15 years as president, has died. He was 75.

Zimmer had been diagnosed with brain cancer.

During his tenure, the University of Chicago secured a $300 million gift to its business school and $155 million in donations from Citadel founder Ken Griffin.
