Former Ferguson city spokesman charged with meth possession

Posted online

Jeff Small, a former spokesman for the city of Ferguson and reporter for KSDK-TV, was charged this week with meth possession.

Small was pulled over Jan. 6 after an officer noticed one of his vehicle’s headlights was out. Small was taken into custody after the officer found out he had active warrants in other jurisdictions. The office found a plastic bag containing an unknown crystal substance and two glass pipes when searching Small.

Officers who responded to the scene found more drug paraphernalia, and lab tests later confirmed the substance was methamphetamine.
