FDA approves first RSV vaccine

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration has approved the first vaccine for respiratory syncytial virus.

Made by pharmaceutical company GSK, the vaccine is designed for older adults.

Pfizer and Moderna also are working on RSV vaccines.
