The European Union and Mexico on Saturday announced an update to an existing free trade pact.
The deal, which hasn't been formally signed, would allow all goods to move between Europe and Mexico duty-free.
"With this agreement, Mexico joins Canada, Japan and Singapore in the growing list of partners willing to work with the E.U. in defending open, fair and rules-based trade," said Jean-Claude Juncker, president of the European Commission.
