Equine therapy nonprofit Dynamic Strides Therapy Inc. is switching up its top-level leadership.
Chief Operating Officer Breana Eoff has been tapped to head the nonprofit's day-to-day operations as Brandi O’Reilly exits the CEO role, according to a news release. O'Reilly is transitioning to a position on the nonprofit's board.
"We are excited to announce this transition as we continue to expand our impact in the community," O'Reilly said in the release. "The staff has the knowledge, dedication and passion to continue the success of the organization and to provide the community with the therapy services that all children in need deserve."
Eoff served as the nonprofit's development director prior to her appointment as COO. Her new title at Dynamic Strides Therapy is executive director.
Dynamic Strides Therapy provides children's pediatric therapy, including physical, speech, occupational, aquatic and hippotherapy, or therapy on horseback.
The name Dynamic Strides Therapy was inspired by another nonprofit called Dynamic Strides, which closed and which O’Reilly had volunteered for. O’Reilly and her husband, Ryan O’Reilly, purchased the barn, the assets and the property from Dynamic Strides, and in 2016, the new nonprofit, Dynamic Strides Therapy, opened, according to past Springfield Business Journal reporting.
O'Reilly last fall told SBJ that there are over 300 hours of therapy scheduled every week for roughly 270 Dynamic Strides Therapy patients.
