Disney cancels $1B project in Florida

Disney has canceled a $1 billion project in Florida amid ongoing disagreements with Gov. Ron DeSantis' administration.

The plans called for an office complex that would have added 2,000 jobs in Orlando. The company had planned to relocate the employees from southern California.

Josh D’Amaro, Disney’s theme park and consumer products chair, cited “changing business conditions."
