Cuba nominates Castro replacement

Cuba's parliament chose Miguel Diaz-Canel to replace Raul Castro as president.

Castro took over in 2006 for his ailing brother Fidel.

Diaz-Canel, Castro's right-hand man, was the only candidate picked to succeed him.
