Chicago to offer Obama Foundation 99-year use of park for $10

Chicago City Council is expected to vote Sept. 20 on the use of Jackson Park by the Obama Foundation.

The council is expected to vote to award a 99-year term use for the Obama Presidential Center in Jackson Park. The foundation would only have to pay $10.

The ordinance hinges on whether the foundation can meet requirements, including financing the estimated $350 million project.
