Airbnb unveiled a new rental tier called Airbnb Luxe.
Officials described Luxe as “a new luxury experience that makes personal and bespoke travel more accessible to everyone." It's separate from Airbnb's high-end home offering called Plus.
Through Luxe, customers can rent a private island, French castles and ski lodges, among other properties.
A private island in French Polynesia sells for $146,246 per night, or roughly $1 million a week. It comes with a chef, captain, doctor and activities coordinator.
