The fifth Springfield shop for Fayetteville, Arkansas-based 7 Brew Coffee is open for business.
Brew Crew LLC is the franchisee behind the store at 354 W. Buena Vista St., according to a news release. A ribbon-cutting ceremony with Springfield Area Chamber of Commerce ambassadors was held yesterday after the coffee shop opened to customers Sept. 11.
“We have a special team eager to fuel the Springfield community with our fifth location,” said Brandon Sebald, co-owner of Brew Crew, in the release. “We look forward to continuing our expansion and caffeinating our neighbors.”
The 7 Brew store, located along South Campbell Avenue near Casa Bella Mexican Cuisine, adds 50 jobs to the Springfield workforce, officials say.
Like the other 7 Brew locations in town, the store is a coffee stand with drive-thru lanes.
The most recent 7 Brew store opened in May at 333 S. Western Ave., is near the intersection of Chestnut Expressway and West Bypass, according to past reporting.
Another 7 Brew in town – from separate franchisees – was approved by Springfield City Council in January to launch at the southeast corner of Sunshine Street and Jefferson Avenue. A 7 Brew shop has yet to open on the site, which remains vacant.
Moseley’s Discount Office Products was purchased; Side Chick opened in Branson; and the Springfield franchise store of NoBaked Cookie Dough changed ownership.
