Allen Global LLC has scheduled a groundbreaking ceremony tomorrow in Ozark for its new $500,000 headquarters.
Managing member Jerry Nichols said the 4,000-square-foot project - located at the southeast corner of State Highway NN and Southernview Road - would house executive offices for him and business partner Kathy Allen, a boardroom, training facilities and event space to host foreign and domestic dignitaries and customers.
“Because our customers may be coming from Dubai or Paraguay, they don’t know the difference between coming to Springfield or Ozark,” said Nichols, who currently holds an office at a fabrication shop at 210 S. Union Ave. in Springfield. “We looked at retail office space in many of the office areas in town, but we don’t require commercial access. This won’t be an open office. It will be invited guests only, so its location is irrelevant, except to me.”
With work by general contractor Levell Construction and architect Randy Hone, construction is expected to take six months, he said, noting the city of Ozark is in the process of annexing the land. Nichols said he purchased 10 acres next to his Ozark horse ranch for the project.
“I’ve subdivided the front three acres on NN into three commercial lots. Our office will be one of them, and I’ll develop the other two in some other way commercially,” Nichols said.
The groundbreaking ceremony, scheduled for 10 a.m., is expected to be attended by U.S. Rep. Billy Long and city of Ozark representatives, including Mayor Rick Gardner, Administrator Steve Childers and Ozark Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Dori Grinder, Nichols said.
Allen Global serves the role of parent company for several manufacturers of fluid filtration and purification equipment for power grids and the oil and gas industries. All of Allen Global’s products are exported, according to

“We’re scattered right now,” Nichols said, noting the new headquarters would consolidate executive operations. “We’ll have the technical facilities to do global conferences calls with our offices worldwide simultaneously. Coordinating everything globally is difficult from fragmented locations.”[[In-content Ad]]
