No one apparently has been hurt, but Ford isn't taking any chances.
On Friday, the automaker recalled 850,000 vehicles because the airbags could short-circuit and not activate in a wreck, according to CNNMoney. Ford stated in the article that it is not aware of any accidents or injuries caused by the defect.
C-Max, Fusion, Escape and Lincoln MKZ vehicles from 2013 and 2014 are the models involved in the recall. Ford will replace the computer module in affected cars.
