SATIRE: New employee has enough experience to be called incompetent

More than a month into his position as an account manager with an insurance firm in St. Louis, colleagues of Martin Wallace told reporters the 30-year-old’s constant errors and carelessness are not due to a lack of experience, but are products of his personal ineptitude.

Coworker Diane Kendrick thought the mistakes he was making in the office were because he was learning the ropes. Now, however, she understands that he’s too dumb to know what he’s doing, The Onion reports.

Kendrick said that Wallace is not likely to lose his job because the company’s management is less competent and observant than he is.
