The third-annual class of Men of the Year has been chosen by an independent panel of judges and will be honored at an Aug. 23 luncheon.
The award recognizes the professional, philanthropic and civic contributions of 20 men from across southwest Missouri.
The 2013 Men of the Year honorees are:

The Men of the Year luncheon will begin at 11 a.m. Aug. 23 in the White River Conference Center, 600 W. Sunshine St. Tickets are $38 apiece and can be purchased at

SBJ has partnered with Brighton-based nonprofit Good Samaritan Boys Ranch for the Men of the Year event in an effort to raise money and help provide a safe and caring home for boys who have come from broken or nonexistent homes. The event will include a silent auction and special donation opportunities.
