Project description: Restaurateur Steve Heil of CL Springfield LLC is planning a mid-August opening for the first Springfield franchise location of Cantina Laredo. Heil is completely remodeling the former Springfield Pasta Co. restaurant and expanding it by adding three banquet rooms and two patio spaces to the 6,500-square foot building. George Hensley, owner of general contractor Construction Processing Co., said 20,000 square feet of new parking space also is part of the renovation plans.
