Mission Statement:
The Hamels Foundation is dedicated to enriching the lives of children through the power of education by giving them the tools they need to achieve their goals. Because of the generous support of The Hamels Foundation’s co-founders, Cole and Heidi Hamels, who underwrite 100% of all administrative costs, 100% of all donations received go directly to support the mission.
Service Area:
The Hamels Foundation is focused on supporting education in the communities in which co-founders Cole and Heidi Hamels live (the Ozarks-Missouri & Philadelphia, PA).
12-month Goal:
The Hamels Foundation is a non-profit 501(c) (3) organization founded by 2008 World Series MVP, 3-time MLB All-Star and Philadelphia Phillies pitcher Cole Hamels and his wife Heidi. The Hamels Foundation has a dual purpose to provide support for quality education in the United States and establish a school in Malawi, Africa. The Hamels Foundation takes a community-based approach to education by providing sustainable assistance to schools and teachers. This includes but is not limited to providing stimulating learning environments such as study labs and outdoor gardens, high-quality educational programs and necessary provisions to promote learning.

The Hamels Foundation actively seeks monetary and financial support from local individuals and businesses to further their mission of supporting education. This is done through a variety of individual donations and corporate giving opportunities.
