How People & Businesses Can Help:
The Good Samaritan Boys Ranch will expand services in the coming year to include a transitional living program for girls. A group home will be developed in Willard which will serve eight girls ages 16-21 where they will learn how to live independently in the community before they are released from the foster care system. This new program will need many resources including funding, adult mentors and opportunities for employment for the residents. Our goal is to have the program operational by November of this year.
Volunteer Opportunities:
Groups and businesses can volunteer doing projects at the campus in Brighton or the transitional living group homes in Springfield and Willard. We are always looking for good mentors for our older youth in these programs.
Testimonial:
“Empire Bank is fortunate to share our success with a number of worthwhile organizations in our region helping to make the Ozarks a better place to live. One of the great things about Good Samaritan Boys Ranch is the real, tangible difference they make in a young man’s life. The staff’s investment in time and resources to help a Ranch resident turn their life around pays a real return for years to come, and we consider it a privilege to support the Ranch’s mission.”
