When you donate to the museum, purchase memberships, sponsor an exhibit, or support our History Museum on the Square fundraisers, you are helping us create the future history museum that Springfield deserves.

Volunteer Opportunities:

We offer community volunteers the chance to train as docents and exhibit hosts. As our museum expands, additional volunteer opportunities will be offered. We also have college interns who receive college credit for extensive volunteer work at our museum.

Testimonial:

“The History Museum on the Square is literally and figuratively located at the heart of our community, and it will help to anchor our downtown redevelopment efforts. By providing a much-needed cultural amenity, the History Museum on the Square enhances Springfield’s economy and our quality of life offerings, which attract people and businesses to our community.”
