Mission Statement:
The mission of the Foundation for Springfield Public Schools is to raise, manage and distribute private investment to benefit students of Springfield Public Schools.

Funding:
The Foundation for Springfield Public Schools receives funding from businesses, individuals and foundations.

12-month Goals: 
To support classroom needs by providing academic opportunities for students, scholarships, teacher grants and direct support to schools.

Annual Events:
The Teacher Appreciation Banquet is in April and celebrates and honors teachers in Springfield Public Schools while raising funds to support the Foundation’s mission.  The annual Kum & Go Gallon’s for Growth is a 24-hour event in April each year that raises funds to support Back to School grants.  The Sip & Shop Champagne Brunch, Silent Auction & Fashion Show in September is a partnership with 417 Magazine and raises funds and awareness of the Foundation for Springfield Public Schools.

How People & Businesses Can Help:
Donations to the Foundation help support 25,000 students across the district through more than 190 funds and scholarships.  Gifts made to the Foundation provide needed equipment, technology and supplies for classrooms.

Volunteer Opportunities:
Volunteer opportunities are available through Springfield Public Schools.
