How People & Businesses Can Help:

• Donation Drives: host a donation drive through your church or workplace by collecting clothing, shoes, small household items, etc., and we’ll pick it up.

• Match Discounts:  Partner with BBBSO by offering free and reduced activities and services to the Bigs and Littles in our programs. By offering free or discounted services to our matches, you are helping foster a caring relationship while increasing traffic to your business.

• Matchmaker Monthly Giving. Each month, your generous commitment to our cause will help support a match between a Big and a Little.

Volunteer Opportunities:

Community members can volunteer in multiple ways:

• By becoming a Big Sister/Brother/Couple and spending a few hours a month with their Little for one year. During this time, you’re encouraged to do low-cost/free activities of interest, such as hiking or baking.

• By one-time volunteer opportunities through fundraising events such as, the Outdoor Fitness Festival, Price Cutter Charity Championship and Rock’n Ribs.

• By signing your business up for the Lunch Buddy program, which pairs businesses to elementary schools so that employees can spend a lunch hour every week with a child in need.

Testimonial:

“Both of the Bigs are so much more than I could have ever even expected!  I am still amazed at all the things you do as an organization.  I know my children do not understand the vital role being played in their lives, but I know when they become adults, they will understand thoroughly and hopefully become Bigs themselves. Thank you seems weak compared to all we have received, however, we truly are so grateful.”

–Mother of two Littles
