Funding:
The Child Advocacy Center secures funds from a diverse pool of activities to meet our funding needs: state appropriated funds; federal, state and local grants; donor development; special events; an annual campaign; community outreach; and planned giving.

12-month Goals:
The Child Advocacy Center will meet the demands of an ever-growing caseload by expanding our donor base in both southwest and south central Missouri, and by increasing planned and endowed gifts.

Annual Events:

Burgers & Cheers;

Think Small - Go Big Dinner;

KiteFest;

Voice for a Child 5K (West Plains);

Celebrity Waiter Dinner (West Plains);

Various collaborative events throughout the year.

How People & Businesses Can Help:
Donate any time! Sponsor an event; attend an event; advocate for our center and abused children; hold a supply drive at your workplace or church; organize a group work-day at the CAC.

Volunteer Opportunities:
A limited number of on-site, weekday volunteer opportunities are available. Employee, church or service clubs are invited to organize a work session after 5 p.m. or on a Saturday morning for indoor and outdoor projects.

Testimonial:
“To the CAC staff, I just want to say ‘thanks’ for what you have done for me and my family. Getting through these personal thoughts and feelings was hard. At first I thought this would not help and just make things worse. But it turned out that it REALLY HELPED ME GET THROUGH THIS. I feel like I can talk to you guys any time. Thanks A LOT.”

–12-year-old child victim
