Judges choose 2012 class of 40 Under 40

A panel of independent judges has chosen 40 up-and-coming professionals as this year’s class of 40 Under 40 based on their professional and community accomplishments.

Springfield Business Journal launched the 40 Under 40 awards in 1999.

The honorees were chosen by an independent panel of judges comprising Jennifer Dalton, vice president of finance and administration for Springfield Area Chamber of Commerce; Brad Erwin, a principal of Paragon Architecture Inc.; Heather Ramsey, vice president and managing director of VIP banking at Great Southern Bank; Chris Upp, vice president and general manager at Conco Cos.; and Mary Valloni, regional distinguished events director for American Cancer Society.

The 2012 class of 40 Under 40 will be celebrated during a 5:30 p.m. ceremony May 17 at Bass Pro Shops’ White River Conference Center, 600 W. Sunshine St. Springfield Business Journal is partnering with Ozarks Food Harvest to raise money to fight hunger through the 40 Under 40 event, with a raffle and special donation opportunities.
