The board voted 4–2 on the Point Entertainment Complex proposal, which would include a hotel, condominiums, restaurant, spa, office space, retail space, a parking garage, conference center and a classic-car museum. The project would be located at highways 65 and 248 and would be developed by HCW Development, also the developer of Branson Landing.
The complex would be the tallest building in southwest Missouri, according to the proposal.
