The Branson Board of Aldermen gave first-round approval Sept. 11 to a $100 million, 25-story multiuse development proposed by the company behind Branson Landing.

The board voted 4–2 on the Point Entertainment Complex proposal, which would include a hotel, condominiums, restaurant, spa, office space, retail space, a parking garage, conference center and a classic-car museum. The project would be located at highways 65 and 248 and would be developed by HCW Development, also the developer of Branson Landing.

The complex would be the tallest building in southwest Missouri, according to the proposal.

The board will give second reading and a final vote on the proposal Sept. 25.[[In-content Ad]]
