Bass Pro Shops founder John Morris again ranked No. 110 on Forbes' list of the 400 richest Americans.
On the annual list released this week, Forbes pins Morris' net worth at $4.3 billion, up from his estimated net worth of $4 billion on the
2013 list.
His second year in the Forbes 400, Morris, 66, is among six in the Show-Me State to make the list and ranks as the fourth-richest Missourian, according to
Forbes.com.
Missourians on the 2014 list are:
- No. 34, $13.8 billion: Jack Taylor and family of Enterprise-Rent-A-Car in St. Louis;
- No. 89, $5.7 billion: real estate magnate and pro sports team owner Stan Kroenke of Columbia;
- No. 96, $5 billion: Columbia resident Ann Walton Kroenke, wife of Stan Kroenke, who inherited Wal-Mart Stores Inc. (NYSE: WMT) wealth,;
- No. 110, $4.3 billion: Morris, whose Springfield-based Bass Pro and Tracker Marine companies reeled in estimated 2013 revenues of $4 billion;
- No. 133, $3.8 billion: Pauline MacMillan Keinath, of St. Louis, who holds a stake in agribusiness company Cargill Inc.; and
- No. 395, $1.55 billion: Neal Patterson, of Loch Lloyd, chairman, CEO and president of heath care information technology firm Cerner Corp. (Nasdaq: CERN).
Bill Gates, who has a net worth of $80.9 billion, retained the No. 1 spot on the
Forbes 400, followed by No. 2-ranked Warren Buffett, with a net worth of $67.4 billion, and Larry Ellison, $47.6 billion.[[In-content Ad]]
