Jordan Valley opens new Hollister clinic

Posted online
Jordan Valley Community Health Center began seeing patients yesterday at its new Hollister clinic, the nonprofit announced.

The move across U.S. Highway 65 to 33 Gage Drive gives Jordan Valley ownership at the busy interchange at Industrial Park Drive.

After breaking ground in January, Branco Enterprises Inc. expanded a former Jiffy Lube into a 10,000-square-foot patient care center providing medical, dental and behavioral health services. Jordan Valley, which spent roughly $2.7 million on the project, bought the building in March 2014 from CWP West Corp. for an undisclosed amount, according to Springfield Business Journal archives.

Jordan Valley previously leased nearly 2,000 square feet at 590 Birch St. from CoxHealth. The clinic opened in January 2014. Prior to that, the health system provided services through school-based mobile units for five years.

The clinic, designed to draw patients from surrounding counties and Arkansas, provides services to area residents living at or below 200 percent of the poverty level, according to SBJ archives.[[In-content Ad]]
