Posted online

White River Engineering Inc. is the engineer for waste-water treatment improvements at Stockton State Park for the Missouri Department of Natural Resources’ Division of State Parks and the Office of Administration’s Division of Facilities Management, Design & Construction. The roughly $800,000 project comprises a duplex grinder pump station and related force main and a new waste-water treatment system to serve the park, campground and marina. Improvements include a pea gravel filter system, preceded by a septic tank with recycling of filter effluent back to the septic tank for denitrification and followed by ultraviolet disinfection and subsurface dispersion of treated effluent via a low-pressure pipe system.  The estimated completion date is spring 2011.[[In-content Ad]]
