The 2015 Missourian Award winners are slated to be honored next month at a ceremony in Branson.
Recognizing 14 this year, the award honors native Missourians - and, in some cases, longtime state residents who have made widespread contributions - in civic, business, arts or political work, according to TheMissourianAward.org.
The 2015 recipients are:
- Ann Marie Baker, UMB Bank president for the greater Missouri region;
- Dr. David Barbe, regional division president of Mercy Clinic Springfield;
- Rita Baron, Baron Design & Associates LLC principal;
- Dr. James Coulter, medical director of Select Specialty Hospital - Springfield Inc.;
- David Crader, CEO of The Bank of Missouri;
- Bob Hammerschmidt, Commerce Bank Springfield region president;
- Sue Head, dean of character education at College of the Ozarks;
- Wayne Morelock, co-founder of Morelock-Ross Builders Inc.;
- Jack Prim, Jack Henry & Associates Inc. CEO;
- John Raidel, owner of Ridewell Corp.;
- Shelly Titus, managing adviser with BKD Wealth Advisors LLC;
- Joe Turner, president and CEO of Great Southern Bank;
- Timothy Wolfe, president of University of Missouri; and
- John Youngblood, owner of Youngblood Auto Group.
The winners are scheduled to be honored 5 p.m. Aug. 15 at Chateau on the Lake. The Missourian Award was created by Ralph Slavens and his late wife, Corrine, to honor individuals who have made a lasting impact on the Show-Me State.[[In-content Ad]]
