Posted online
Joshua Jones is making an impact on health care delivery in the Ozarks by focusing on personalized patient care. Jones, president and co-owner of Intergrity Pharmacy LLC, is most proud of his efforts to help introduce Integrity’s Personalized Medication Management system by collaborating with health care providers. The system is focused on ensuring providers understand a patient’s full medication regimen, which helps reduce hospital readmissions. Jones also is actively involved in civic affairs serving on a committee for Arc of the Ozarks. Through Integrity Pharmacy, he contributes to the Golden Age Games, held by the Missouri Health Care Association. The games allow nursing-home residents to travel and compete in recreational activities.

What was your first job? My first official job was working the cash register at the local pharmacy during high school, but my first real job was riding the tractor, cutting wood and feeding cows on the family farm.

When did you realize you had grown up? All through college, my parents were required to co-sign all of my student loans. I realized I had grown up when I purchased my first new truck and wasn’t asked to have my parents make the loan appointment.

What do you miss most about the 1990s? Surviving dysentery on “The Oregon Trail.”

What about your job would shock clients? The most expensive oral medication we have on our shelves today is $1,350 per tablet.

What is your best productivity hack? I clean out my email during long conference calls.
