Brooke Bigham seeks to be a catalyst for change in the community. A natural leader, she works to encourage others to give back, whether it be through Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Ozarks or Harmony House. The owner of business executive outsourcing company EOS LLC, she organized a room remodel at Harmony House with adults in her Sunday school class. Now, she’s the one they seek out when the need to volunteer arises. A staunch supporter of women in business, Bigham believes investing in other females through education and encouragement is the surest way to further diversify the workforce.
What was your first job? I worked at County Seat at the Battlefield Mall. It was quite the place back in the day.
What did you learn the hard way? Being a full-time working mom can be very difficult at times, leading to feelings of guilt and stress because of the demands of both your career and family. I learned the key is to set healthy boundaries, both professionally and personally, to find the right balance that works for you and your family.
What historical figure do you identify with most? Amelia Earhart because she broke barriers.
What app gets you through the day? I use MileIQ to keep track of business expenses and mileage. Great time saver.
If you could have one superpower, what would it be? To fly, of course. No checked bags or airline tickets required.
What was your professional “aha” moment? When I decided it was time to start my own business. I wanted to be in the drivers seat and make decisions I felt were best for me, my family and my clients.
