World's second-largest diamond fails to sell

Sotheby's yesterday failed to find a buyer for the world's second-biggest diamond.

The 1,109-carat uncut stone, dubbed the Lesedi La Rona, was expected to fetch at least $70 million.

There were some bidders, but none hit the undisclosed minimum price set by the seller, Lucara Diamond Corp.
