United Parcel's Q1 profits beat expectations

United Parcel Service Inc. posted better-than-expected quarterly profits.

Earnings per share came in at $1.32, better than estimates of $1.29 per share.

UPS posted revenue of $15.3 billion, above analysts' expectations of $15.2 billion.
