House Republicans postpone health care bill vote

House Republicans yesterday postponed the planned vote on their legislation to overhaul the Affordable Care Act.

Instead of voting, lawmakers spent tense hours discussing possible changes being sought by competing factions in the party. Aides say the vote now may happen today.

President Donald Trump reportedly demanded a make-or-break vote in the House  today, saying Republicans had a choice between the American Health Care Act or ACA.
